This turned out great. I used red cocoa and it was very strong so I adjusted the powdered sugar to my taste. This is my go-to hot chocolate recipe now.

I made this last year for gifts (landlady, mail carrier) and it was a big hit. For my personal use, I used a pea protein milk called Ripple. It’s shelf stable, and makes a RICH and CREAMY hot cocoa, and if you get it from Amazon, it’s very affordable.
